Your gift supports our mission to educate those who serve by increasing the opportunity for financial freedom through objective financial education, information, tools, and scholarships.

Charitable Events

We host seasonal fundraising events throughout the year and all are open to the public (21+ for the golf classic, please). The golf and clay tournaments include food, fun, and prizes.

All proceeds from the Clay Shoot and Spring Auction fund financial readiness programs that combat fiscal and economic insecurity. Our Golf Classic and Fall Auction fund our Carroll H. Payne scholarship program, benefiting those seeking college or trade school degrees. Our Holiday Haul 50/50 Raffle funds all our work.

Join us for one or all events to help us support America’s active duty and veteran service members, civilian federal employees, and their families!

Volunteer

FCEF is always looking for committed volunteers to assist in supporting our mission.  We often have opportunities directly related to special events, fundraising, or financial education.  If you are interested in giving time to fulfill our mission, please email us at edufoundation@fcef.com.

Volunteer Speaker Program

We rely on dedicated volunteer speakers to help us meet the demand for financial readiness presentations nationwide. We need and welcome new members to join us in “Educating those who serve.” If you are interested in becoming a volunteer speaker, you can download our Volunteer Speaker Profile and Agreements. Completed forms must be submitted to First Command Educational Foundation as instructed.  Our Education Programs Manager will contact you to finalize your agreement.

We welcome people who are financial professionals to be volunteer speakers. However, as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, additional rules apply for licensed professionals. Please read our Volunteer Opportunities and Ground Rules.  This document sets forth the restrictions concerning advisor participation in FCEF activities on and off military installations.
